ABOUT STORZ & BICKEL
Storz & Bickel set a gold standard for desktop vapes in 2000 with the launch of the Volcano vaporizer, a balloon-bag unit with a unique conical volcano design, precision temperature control and a powerful convection heating system. Boasting the advanced German engineering that became a Storz & Bickel trademark, Volcano introduced Europe and America to vaporization as a better alternative to combustion. As a testament to the quality of Storz and Bickel vapes, the Volcano vaporizer went on to win the Cannabis Cup in 2013 for Best Product of the Year, cementing its place as the most iconic vape in history.
The Storz & Bickel story began in 1996 when Markus Storz, a graphic designer by trade, began developing an herbal vaporizer that would deliver unprecedented vapor production, ease-of-use, and quality. Up until then, no personal vaporizer of value had been created. Storz crafted the first ever Volcano vape using a heat gun in his cellar. Two years later, the Volcano balloon bag patent was registered. And in 2000, the first ever Volcano Classic vaporizer hit the shelves. Seeing potential in the Volcano vaporizer, Jurgen Bickel joined Storz as a partner, and Storz & Bickel was formed.
Riding the momentum of the Volcano vaporizer, Storz & Bickel went on to release the Volcano Digit, an electronic version of the original, in 2007. Soon after they launched the Plenty vaporizer, a handheld desktop unit, and by 2014 Storz & Bickel entered the portable vaporizer market with the Mighty and Crafty. VOLCANO CLASSIC AND DIGITAL
The Storz and Bickel Volcano comes in two different styles: The Classic and Digital. Both feature the same powerful heating systems, design and build quality. But one vape is for traditionalists, the other for those who prefer digital controls over analog. Volcano Classic is the more affordable vaporizer out of the two.
VOLCANO CLASSIC
The Volcano Classic was the first Storz & Bickel vaporizer. It's quite similar to the later iteration, the Volcano Digital, but the control is a rotary dial allowing you to toggle between 9 heat settings, and there's no LCD display. VOLCANO SOLID VALVE OR EASY VALVE
The Volcano Vaporizer utilizes high quality balloon bags that make it easy to take hits with low resistance and share vapor with others. For medical users, someone else can fill the bag and deliver it to their bedside for convenient medication. Storz & Bickel gives you two vapor path options for the Volcano vaporizer: Easy Valve and Solid Valve. These valves enable easy loading of balloon bags.
Both the Solid Valve and Easy Valve are constructed with high-grade plastic, and offer their own advantages. The Easy Valve is a disposable valve attached to each balloon bag which is thrown out after the balloon bag is spent. The Solid Valve has a few more parts and requires more assembly, but lasts forever and saves you money in the long run.
PLENTY VAPORIZER
Storz & Bickel inched closer to the portable vape market with the Plenty vaporizer, which delivers some of the smoothest, most potent and tasty vapor of all time. Although the Plenty vape is a plug-in unit, it features a lighter, more compact design than the Volcano vaporizer. Plenty Vaporizer is hand-held, making it easier to handle when loading, cleaning and vaping, and enabling you to conveniently travel with the vape.
The Plenty Vaporizer features 100% true vaporization by way of convection heating. Rather than heat herb against the hot surfaces of its chamber like conduction vapes do, this Storz & Bickel vaporizer sends hot air into the chamber to vaporize its contents more thoroughly and efficiently with no combustion. Storz & Bickel gave the Plenty Vaporizer a huge double helix chamber that doesn't have to be packed full in order to get the best vapor. Vaporization is very consistent, preventing hot spots or smokiness. The smooth vapor production is thanks in part to the cooling coil, a flexible steel conduit that gives vapor plenty of distance to cool off before it reaches the mouthpiece.
Like all Storz and Bickel vaporizers, the Plenty vape boasts precision temperature control, enabling you to zero in on the best temperature for your dry herb. Choose from a wide range of temperatures between 266F and 395F. Expect big, dense, and flavor-rich clouds on a par with the Volcano vaporizer, but from a handheld, albeit plug-in device.
CRAFTY VAPORIZER
The Storz & Bickel Crafty vaporizer is the most compact unit in the Storz and Bickel lineup. It's also the only mobile app controlled Storz & Bickel vape. It's similar in design to the Mighty Vaporizer, with a tactical ribbed exterior for added grip, but it's about an inch shorter and thinner.
