I would just like to say that if you are debating buying this vaporiser...just buy it! It's that simple! The piece works like a beautiful piece of art. You will delight at the swiss craftsmanship, and not only that it is completely portable as well.

Being able to carry a loaded vapman in my pocket and inhalate on the road within a few seconds, yes, this changed my life. This device just works and is such a pleasure to use. I appreciate the vapman movies on youtube, well done and fascinating.

The vapman vaporizer is awesome, the design is fantastic, its easy to use, extremely protable and great taste.

The easiest way to explain it is its like a little saute pan suspended within a ceramic/wood cone dohickey. Hold a jet flame torch lighter to it for about 10 seconds first time (hence the saute comparison) remove, inhale, and repeat. But once it is hot you only need to saute your material for about 3-4 seconds. I think it is possible to burn your material if you hold a jet flame on it too long. If I see smoke rising from it I just remove the jet flame and carry on. But like any other tool one just needs to learn how to use it.
Showing friends how to use it is sometimes easy and sometimes a pain depending on their mental state. IE don't bother showing/letting drunk/stupid people use it.

As a delivery system, I can't find any flaws in the design. My only thoughts are to suggest to get the Honest lighter or another top grade equivalent. I made the mistake of getting a $9.99 special at the local store and was quite miffed.

In a word--amazing. I owned a larger vaporizer for many years, a good product but the portability and use of this tool is incredible. It does need attention after heavy and frequent use, but is very well made and sturdy. The instructions + ideas are very clear.

I love my Vapman, and may buy a 2nd one just in case. It is amazing. Terrific, small unit. Works great, and doesn't use a lot of product. As others have said, it takes a little practice to judge the length of time to heat, which changes with the length of flame. They give some guide lines, but it is an art, and it just gets better and better.

That said, my only complaint is the lighter ... using my vaporizer 3x a day, the Honest lighter could not make it through a 4 day camping trip. It is also a pain to light when very cold. So I either need to refill on the road, or carry multiple lighers (or a kitchen torch) - all of which adds weight. I think I'll get a Vaporgenie for travel as the normal flame lighters do better at altitude and in cold than the Jet Flames. But the Vapman itself? perfect.
