Good Deal

This is a good vaporizer for plug-in use. The draw back is that it leaks air. Some duct tape took care of that problem and since then I have gotten more vapor per each disk. It works fast and I have had no issues with my motor. I make sure I cool it down before I turn it off and I recommend that any other user does as well. It's not a volcano, but the product is good for the money.
Sturdy But Loud

Good vaporizor. Bought it for use in the dorm rooms and it worked very well. Have been using it off and on for about 3 years now and there have been no problems with any of the parts. The only problem is that it is VERY loud, sometimes gets annoying. Would recommend it but the noise can get obnoxious.

The Vapir ONE is quite easy to use, albeit a little weirdly designed. The cartridge system makes it convenient, but the fan sounds very cheap.

Pros:
+ Easy to use
+ Digital
+ Cartridge system
+ Extensible

Cons:
- Fan is loud and somewhat irritating
- Does not save set temperature
- Though it's nice to have a handle, the design is still rather awkward

I have owned a Vapir One for 2 years and use it semi-weekly (4-7 times per week). The machine works just as well today as it did upon delivery.

Pros:
Heats up in seconds, and delivers vapor ranging from light and airy to dark and dense.
Hand held unit is semi-portable; I use a small 12VDC-120VAC converter in my car ($30 at radio shack) and it runs the vaporizer.
Fills balloons for cooled vapor or collection of essential oils; vapor can be stored in balloons for up to 10 minutes without becoming stale. Instruction booklet says up to an hour, but that has not been my experience.
Solid construction, easy to disassemble for cleaning purposes; has survived a few drops on concrete and tile.

Cons:
There is a plastic taste from the machine if you suck right on the plastic housing or a short tube with the fan off. This unit was designed to fill balloons, and although you can draw directly from it, I would not recommend doing so for several reasons: you will lose vapor if you don’t fill the bags, it can burn you, if you draw too fast it can ignite the material, there is a funky smell/taste.
I have a V2 Vapir One and it does have a tendency to leak vapor at times. I have read that the newer versions have better insulation and are sealed better, but I cannot say whether this is true.


Vapor from balloons filled using a Vapir One is fresh and tasty. The machine is durable and inexpensive. Not to be used as direct inhalation unit – 1 star deduction. Some leaks, but not bad enough to deserve more than 1 star deduction.
A Nice Attempt But Still Falls Below Expectation

I have used all vapir variants, and none of them have lived up to the older, simple whip based, originally soldering iron, heating element systems.

it may be that most users are EXPECTING the type of effect offered by those systems when using vaporizers, but I still feel that this specific vapir system leaves much to be desired.

I notice it leaks a lot of vapor. It has a tendency to burn if loading is not perfect. The fan system did not work for direct inhalation in the unit I tried (Which was, albeit, very old). It may be good for SOME types of material like tobacco, whose surface area is much greater than other materials, but it did not work very well for my situation.
Wonderful product

I can't handle a rough smoke and didn't have a lot of money, so this was a perfect choice. I've never had trouble operating it, it's very easy. There was a slight plastic taste right out of the box but that went away quickly. It makes for great efficient use of my product. The balloon attachment is wonderful, I can just fill it up and take as long as I want to use it. I would recommend this to anyone.
Like the taste of Plastic?

I tried several sessions with this unit and the plastic taste was massive and overpowering. It was not easy to use. It is not hi-tech and cool.

The hands free Vaporbox Vaporizer unit works and tastes great - right out of the box. Get one of those...

I was totally disappointed with this Vapir unit and strongly recomend against it.
